About Us

The Homeless Housing Network is operated by Chelan County. The purpose of the Homeless Housing Network is to administer the Coordinated Entry System to Chelan and Douglas Counties. We understand that everyone has a different story to tell and life experiences. It is our mission to deliver equitable, compassionate, and efficient services to the most vulnerable people in our community who are experiencing homelessness or are at imminent risk of homelessness.

While our main focus is to refer clients to the housing programs that they would be the best candidate for, we also believe in helping to connect clients to services that can meet their needs where they are. We provide clients with information of other service agencies that may be able to assist the client for specific needs and more immediate needs. We want to cut down "the run around" and resolve crisis as quickly as possible.

It is important to know that many services in Chelan and Douglas Counties are at capacity and have waitlists. As much as the Homeless Housing Network would love to house everyone the same day we come in contact with clients, it is just not typically possible. However, our dedicated staff will work to ensure that you are on all proper waitlists for assistance and provide you with the resources you need to be successful. 

 

We can provide diversion services for clients who have verifiable connections to stable housing outside of the community. In some cases, we are able to provide move-in assistance to clients who can sustain the on-going rent on their own. We can provide assistance with obtaining important documentation such as birth certificates and I.D.

We prefer that you contact us online by filling out an application for assistance. Otherwise, thanks to the excellent collaboration of LINK Transit, our office is located in Columbia Station (300 S. Columbia Street, Wenatchee, WA 98801 - located on the 1st floor). Our temporary office hours are Monday - Friday 10am -5pm. We are closed on all federal holidays.
