Below is emergency shelter information for Chelan and Douglas Counties. Resources are listed by town. Click on the logo of each agency to go to their websites for more information. Some agencies do not have websites. This information is updated each year with the Great Wenatchee Valley Resource Guides or when agencies provide updates.

Wenatchee Rescue Mission

Services include:

  • RV Safe Parks - please call for further information on if you would qualify for the Safe Parks and to ask if there is a waitlist. 

  • Low Barrier Men's Shelter - Low barrier does not mean low standards. WRM has eliminated barriers to make the shelter more accessible to those in need. Shelter rules prohibit drug possession, alcohol, and weapons in its facilities. Guests are expected to obey the law. No violence will be tolerated. 

  • Low Barrier Women's Shelter - Low barrier does not mean low standards. WRM has eliminated barriers to make the shelter more accessible to those in need. Shelter rules prohibit drug possession, alcohol, and weapons in its facilities. Guests are expected to obey the law. No violence will be tolerated. There are a limited number of beds for women. 

  • Tiny Shelters - 43 tiny shelters each with two beds, and a small desk area outfitted with heating and air. They are designed to house couples, people with pets, and people who cannot live in a communal setting. Entry is by placement of WRM street outreach teams only.

Sage Advocacy Center

Services Include: 

  • 24/7 Helpline - Sage offers a 24/7 help line where a Sage Advocacy Center team member can be reached for support at (509) 663-7446. 

  • Emergency Shelter - Sage offers a 90 day emergency shelter for women and their children impacted by domestic violence and/or sexual assault. Their shelter is in a confidential location. Please contact Sage to get enrolled into shelter. 

    • Each guest will need to complete a background check before entry.

St. Francis House

Daily 6pm-7am 

Services Include:

  • Provides overnight shelter for adult men & women and their pets who are in need of a safe space and warm place to stay. Families with children may receive a motel voucher if funding permits. Most clients stay at the Lighthouse during the day and return to The Saint Francis House in the evening—transportation is provided to and from.

  • Dinner served on Sunday evenings

Lighthouse Christian Ministries

Services Include: 

  • Day shelter that allows for people to charge their phones and spend the day. Lighthouse offers Bible Studies Mon -Fri 12:30pm -1:30pm, but are not required to stay. Church services are offered on Sunday at 12:30pm. 

  • Monday - Saturday 

    • Breakfast 8:30am ​

    • Lunch - 11:30am 

    • Dinner 5pm

  • Sunday 

    • Brunch 11am ​

  • 90 day emergency shelter for women or people who are femme identifying, and children. Client focused on securing permanent housing while using required case management. They provide access to job training and economic empowerment.
